Thirteen years ago, I was an 18-year-old kid boarding a plane from Ghana to the United States. I carried with me a suitcase full of dreams and a heart full of hope, uncertain of what the future held.
My destination was Virginia Tech, where I was set to major in electrical engineering and minor in leadership. Little did I know the education I was about to receive would extend far beyond the confines of a classroom.
By the age of 24, I had defied the odds to become a self-made millionaire.

The Beginning: Building the Right Mindset
The first step on my path to financial independence was a mental one.
As a young man fresh from Ghana, my understanding of wealth and success was limited.
That changed when I stumbled upon two transformational books — “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. These books reshaped my perception of wealth and ignited a flame within me to strive for financial independence.
